Filling Tubes for the Pharmaceutical Industry
Optimized 3D Printing for Mass Production of Pharmaceutical Components
For the pharmaceutical company Zentiva, we designed and produced filling tubes intended for filling medications into blister packs. Each tube was carefully printed from Loctite 3843 material with added pigment, ensuring their strength and precision. The tubes were arranged in grids and connected by thin links, which could be easily snapped off. To ensure stability, they were reinforced in the middle and at the ends with horizontal supports to prevent movement during printing. This organized system allowed for the efficient production of 360 tubes in three printing cycles. This approach not only sped up production but also ensured consistent quality required for precise pharmaceutical applications.
